Colin M Chassagne-Montrachet Encegnieres

One of the finest white wine vintages in Burgundy for several years; a classic. The hallmarks of 2014 are minerality, ripe acidity and above all, structure. This Chassagne ‘Encegnieres’ parcel was very successful for Colin in 2014. The minerality is manifest in the stony, racy fruit spine, which is predominantly citrus (lemon & lime) and coated in a gentle oak wrap. On the palate it is rich, stylish & complex. Hints of apricot & peach too. Though no hurry, this ‘Encegnieres’ is irresistible now.
