With a history of well over 1000 years of production, Sake is an alcoholic beverage made from rice through fermentation and filtration and the use of a fungi called koji. This is the very basics of sake, and we aim to enlighten and unravel the may intricacies, varieties and the terms associated with this amazing beverage.
Our host Colly Murray, is Ireland's expert in all things sake, and will be our guide for the evening, into the world of this most fascinating of drinks.

Bordeaux 2023
After a long wait and anticipation, as these things tend to be, the 2023 Bordeaux vintage is in bottle and has arrived.
The 2023 vintage from Bordeaux is a hybrid Bordeaux vintage, uniting at its best the depth and flesh of a sunny vintage with the vibrant, expressive aromas and flavours, evocative of fresh fruits and flowers, more typical of a cooler year. The impressions of great wine we experienced tasting this vintage from the bottle in early 2024 have been repaid in large amounts. Indeed, tasting them was a real pleasure. This is an immensely consumer-friendly vintage: it’s good now; it will be good tomorrow; and it will be good in 20 years.
In this vein, 64 Wine are delighted to offer a selection of cases, of some of our favourite wines from the vintage for your drinking pleasure.
