Australia is a powerhouse in the world of wine making, despite the disadvantage of having no native grapes varietals. With over 130 different varietals now been grown in the country, Australian winemaking results have been impressive and has established benchmarks for a number of varietals, such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and most notably Shiraz, the backbone of the the countries industry.
Australian wines have become sought after all over the world and grace the cellars and tables of collectors and restaurants in every corner. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the depth and breadth of Australian winemaking excellence.
